Up to 30% of the brain and eye is made of long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids. Docasahexanoic acid (DHA) has a structural role in the brain and in the retina.
Supplementing with Equazen¨ mumomega¨ is a convenient way to ensure input of these important nutrients, thereby helping to ensure the mother has an adequate intake.

A daily intake of 200mg DHA is required in addition to the recommended daily intake of 250mg DHA & EPA for adults. This product provides 300mg of DHA and 42mg EPA daily.
